To kickstart this post… can we please address my commitment over the past few days to get a post up without fail?! I mean, I’m not trying to brag but… GO ME 💞! Heh… heh… no, okay. Anyway, *cough, cough* today, I will be sharing my tips on getting into the autumn spirit with you 😊! I hope that you enjoy…
My first tip is… don’t be afraid to start wearing autumnal things! Sure, you may be the only person in the street wearing turtleneck shirts, furry coats, boots and basically everything autumnal… SO WHAT?! If it truly gets you into the autumn spirit then go ahead 😉!
Here is another fashion related one… buy a cosy jumper or
two five ten 😂! Lounging around in a fluffy jumper on a weekend is just perfect; it really gets me excited for the days to come! Yup, you could even use the abandoned, ugly ones from last Christmas! Everything goes 💞!
BAKE 🍪! Whether it be apple crumble cupcakes (a hint for one of my future blog posts *wink, wink*), cinnamon rolls or something pumpkin-y
wow my grammar is great! Baking is perfect for those days when you just have a need to contribute to the autumnal atmosphere 😄!

Enjoy the outdoors 🍁! Here’s a lil’ story for you:
Once upon… a few days ago, I was on a trip to the Tower of London! The amount of photography opportunities was unbelievable 💞! Every time I turned a corner there was something beautiful! I couldn’t help but wish that I had my camera with me ☺️! The lesson I learnt was that you should never underestimate the outdoors! So… go outside, not forgetting to take your camera with you, obviously *nervous laugh*, and just enjoy yourself!
This one is simple… DECORATE YOUR ROOM! Here are some ideas:
· Fairy Lights ✨! Hang or tape them on your wall – above your bed, desk, window, on the door – the choice is yours. Plus, you could even leave them there for when Christmas comes around! LIFE HACK, am I right 😂?!
· Blankets and Pillows! Get as cosy as possible! Is there an empty corner in your room? Make a cute, lil’ fort to fill up the space!
Make yourself a special cup of hot chocolate! I digress! The number of times that I have mentioned hot chocolate on this blog is unbelievable! Anywho, as I was saying, go on and make yourself a hot chocolate 😊! You deserve it (but if you don’t, than pretend you do because you are not going to miss out on a hot chocolate opportunity being the smart lil’ hooman that you are 😂)! Also, don’t just stick to the basic flavours, try out some new ones! Here are a few that I gathered off of the internet that seem delicious:
Peppermint: 1 Cup Whole Milk + 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips + 1 TSP Peppermint Extract
Caramel: 1/2 Cup Milk + 5 OZ Milk Chocolate (Chopped) + 1/4 Heavy Cream + 3 TBSP Caramel Extract
Yup, these seem extremely sweet but… everyone deserves a treat 💞!
HAVE A MOVIE NIGHT 🎬! Movie nights always get me into a comfy and cosy mood! Just go ahead, grab your popcorn and go 🍿! You could binge-watch the Harry Potter movies, catch up on your favourite series; the possibilities are endless 😆!
Have a good ol’ lazy day! We all have days like that. When you have no energy and nothing to do 😌. Snuggle with your pets, read a book, paint something, write something, take a nap, cook or bake something (like cookies 🍪)…
