Hello you lil’ avos 🥑! What are y’all up to? Today, I will be doing another tea chat! Okay, okay, I know what you are all thinking! I haven’t posted one of these in ages! Anywho, today’s topic is… self-love 💛! I chose this topic because I feel like all of us don’t appreciate ourselves as much as we should and it’s a topic very close to my heart! By the way, keep a look out for some cheeky quotes hidden in between…
Admit it. We have all hated something about ourselves at one point. She is better than me. She is prettier than me. She is effortless. I wish that I was her. People say these things to themselves everyday and it’s not right. Hating yourself is not right. Every blemish, every fault… they are all beautiful ✨. In fact, they are not faults at all; they are the wonderful things that make us who we are 🌸!
When a flower doesn’t grow, you fix the environment in which the flower grows, not the flower.
Everyone is gorgeous in their own way! Although I may not know you, what I do know is that you are so unique and filled with an individual personality! You are courageous, you are intelligent, you have a soul that shines bright and blinds everything in its way 🌱!
A flower does not try to compete with the flower next to it. It just blooms.
“Flowers grow back after they’ve been stepped on and so will I.”
“Take a look in the mirror. What do you see? A girl. Nothing special, only a girl. You want so much more. So you change yourself completely. You strip yourself of your personality. You strip yourself of everything. After all the torment, you are happy with who you are. So you check again, you check how you have improved… but the reflection just looks worst. You wonder what went wrong, but a realisation materializes. You realise that the only thing that was wrong, the only thing that you hated, was your lack of self-love. You strip yourself again but this time, from all that you added. You retrieve your personality, you retrieve everything that you lost through the excruciating process. You check one last time and there, looking back at you… is someone with beauty beyond this world.”
This was something I wrote that I thought was something people could relate to!
As I near the end of this post, I would just like to say one more thing… you are more than enough!
Should I write more compositions like the one above? Tell me what you think about this post down below! I love to hear from all of you 💫!
I hope that you enjoyed this shorter post and learnt something from it!
Until next time.
With much love,
